Fragments of Identity: A Transatlantic Dialogue

Untitled Art Advisory is pleased to present an  exhibition titled “Fragments of Identity: A Transatlantic Dialogue,” featuring the compelling works of two internationally established artists, Milena Dragicevic and Jakob Kolding. This exhibition merges the realms of oil painting and collage, inviting viewers to engage with profound themes of identity and cultural exchange.

Milena Dragicevic, a Serbocanadian artist residing in London, will showcase a selection of her stunning oil paintings from the series “Erections for Transatlantica.” These works are characterized by their evocative exploration of migration, belonging, and the intricate tapestry of cultural interactions. Through her artistic lens, Dragicevic contemplates the fluidity of identity, challenging viewers to reflect on their own connections to an ever-evolving world.

In tandem with Dragicevic’s work, the exhibition will feature Jakob Kolding’s thought-provoking paper collages. As a Danish artist based in Berlin, Kolding utilises his artistic practice to delve into the complexities of urban existence. His collages intricately layer varying images and textures, crafting narratives that probe the fragmented experience of identity within the modern landscape. Kolding’s work invites an exploration of the ways we construct our sense of self amidst the influences of a globalised society.
