Milena Dragicevic

Dragicevic’s work primarily focuses on painting, where she explores the boundaries between abstraction and figuration. Her notable series, “Supplicants,” features portraits with geometric shapes obscuring or altering the subjects’ faces, creating a sense of anonymity and universality. In addition to her artistic practice, Dragicevic contributes to academia as an Associate Lecturer in the Painting MA program at the Royal College of Art. Her experience as an immigrant, artist, mother, and fraternal twin informs her interest in spaces of multiplicity where art can happen.
